Nearly ready for this year.

Iona has had an MOT and is now awaiting her annual Habitation check in a few days, hopefully nothing will be found amiss.

In preparation for the coming season we have been looking at sites to visit this year. The choice of sites at the beginning of the year is governed by the need for electric hook-up. We start off with Kingsbury Water Park that is the full C&CC site with plenty of walks around the park, the water meadows and the Canal. The canal leads nicely to a pub which is always handy.

This year we have found some new sites that range from a farm near Stratford upon Avon to a small 5 pitch site up near Hull but out on Spurn point, which should be interesting. We have got several of our favourite sites, Bridlington, Bilton near Harrogate, Mundesley north Norfolk, Brancaster, Ilkley, Scarborough, Pateley Bridge.

We have the first five sites all booked and we are counting the days. The good news is the longer we wait the longer the days get and hopefully a bit warmer. Thinking of the warmer days we have bought ourselves a new Campingaz BBQ. We went for the Picnic 400 so as soon as we have tried it out, we will give a short review on here.
